Recipe #103 | Tahini Almond Cookies

Making the Tahini Almond Cookies

These cookies are crispy and have a deep nutty flavor, you think your eating a peanut butter cookie due to the similar texture and taste. Tahini is sesame seeds ground into a paste and is commonly used to make hummus. A simple recipe that will become your new favorite!

Ingredients:

1/2 cup Tahini
2 Cups Almond Flour
1/4 Coconut Sugar
1/4 Cup Butter
2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
1 Tbsp Vanilla
1 Egg
1/4 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Sea Salt
Sesame Seeds

Process:

1.Preheat Oven to 350F
2. In a bowl mix together almond flour, baking soda and sea salt, set aside.
3. In a separate mixing bowl us an electric mixer and cream together butter, coconut sugar, maple syrup, vanilla and apple cider vinegar
4. Add egg and tahini to butter mixture and mix until creamy
5. Add almond flour mixture and combine
6. line a baking sheet with parchment paper
7. Spoon out tablespoon worth of cookie mixture on pan
8. Sprinkle sesame seeds on each cookie
9. Bake in oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown
