Recipe #72 | Maple Grilled Chicken Thighs

Making The Grilled Chicken Thighs

The sweet flavorful maple syrup comes though in this delicious Paleo Chicken Recipe. Marinated and grilled to perfection this tender and juicy dish will have you drooling for more. Swing by your local farmers market and look for a bag of Chicken Thighs and you will find that they are very reasonable in price. Allow the chicken to marinate over night for an incredibly tender chicken experience 😉

 

Ingredients:

6-8 Large Chicken Thighs
1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar (Raw Unpasteurized)
1/4 Cup Maple Syrup (Grade 2)
2 Tbsp Stone Ground Mustard
1 Tbsp Olive oil

 

Seasonings:

2 tsp Dried Oregano
2 tsp Dried Rosemary
2 tsp Dried Garlic
1 tsp Dried Sage
2 tsp Fenugreek
2 tsp Cumin
2 tsp Smoked Paprika
2 tsp Fresh Cracked Black Pepper
2 tsp Sea Salt

 

Process:

1. Place Chicken Thighs into large mixing bowl
2. Add Olive Oil, Maple Syrup and Apple Cider Vinegar
3. Add all Seasonings and mix into the Chicken until evenly combined
4. Transfer the Chicken to a Ziplock bag or cover the bowl with Plastic Wrap
5. Allow the Chicken to marinate in the fridge for at least 2 hours or over night if possible
6. Grill Chicken at 300-350 F for about 45 to 60 minutes depending on how big the thighs are.
7. Serve with Grilled Vegetables or your favorite side salad

    Fabulous! I grilled them in the BBQ. Marinated overnight.

    I made this tonight minus the fenugreek and sage because I was out – it was raining, so I baked it in the oven with the marinade poured over and broiled the last couple minutes. Delicious!!
